We are driving form Monteverde to Quepos on Monday. Have never been in CR before. Any advice on things to see and do.?
It is a 3 to 3 and a half hour drive, one suggestion is to stop at the Tarcoles bridge to see the crocodiles, you can also stop at Jaco Beach for a meal. Always keep your car rental on sight and do not leave money or important documents unattended in the car.
It is a nice ride...from Montevedrde down to Sardinal to take Pan Am Hwy...all the way to connect in Barranca with 27 all the way to Orotina to take 34 all the way to Quepos ...
Nice stop for meals Steve´s and Lisas in Tarcoles beach or almost in front a typical costarican seafood restaurant...La Fiesta del Marisco...very much the same menu than Steve´s and Lisas but more simple...good food at either one...
Around the lookout for Jaco...great place to look for red and green macaws...and even some toucans...
