Hotel with little walking

I'm looking for a great hotel that doesn't require lots of walking. Now I know that all resorts require you walk quite a ways, but in general......can anyone recommend a hotel that has easy access from room to pool/restaurants, etc. We typically like to stay in 4 star+ hotels.

Thanks all!

check out San Bada....its a good central location, right at national park entrance and tunnel access to the beach. Its a pretty solid Deluxe resort and everything is very central around their large main pool or on the rooftop of the main building. They also have ramps and elevators in the room building.

Arenas del Mar is waiting for you...one of the best hotels in the area...great beach access...

I second the recommendation for Arenas del Mar, although you'll definitely need to take advantage of their internal golf-cart shuttles to get to and from the beach/lobby/rooms, as the main complex sits atop a steep hill.

Both of them have similar facilities, in Arenas del Mar you need to wait for the golf cart to take you in or out from the property of the hotel. If you want to visit the park, restaurants you need to rent a car or take a cab. Please remember Arenas del Mar has an amazing beach, (they have direct access).

San Bada great access to the public beach an right next to the park entrance, close to restaurants, groceries store. Enjoy!

Arenas del Mar has golf carts everywhere so you won't have to walk much, but that is not always convenient. You might want to check out Los Altos which might be more convenient to restaurants, as well as they have an elevator within the hotel. Tulemar/Buena Vista can be good too if you don't mind taking a shuttle throughout the property, as it is definitely set on a mountain. Enjoy!

Thanks everyone. While there we are looking to partake in a few activities...white water rafting, volcano to name a couple. Will these hotels allow close enough access?

I want to remember you there is no volcano in Manuel Antonio area.

Many of the activities are not located on Manuel Antonio, all the tour operators (white water rafting, canopy/zipline, sportfishing, boat sailing and others) provide transfers to pick/drop you up in your hotel, thats why the location of the resorts are not significant.

The main attraction of Manuel Antonio is the National Park, Sanbada is next to the main entrance, Los Altos is around 3 minute drive same as Tulemar / Buena Vista Villas, and Arenas del Mar is 10 minute drive, please remember Arenas del Mar has a private beach access. Enjoy!

All of the tours are close in our area except the Volcanoes which are not close with a minimum 4 hr drive one way to get to those. Most everything else including rafting would be considered a local tour and not far away at all. Enjoy!
