Places similar to Tulemar Mot Mot Hideaway?

After reading everything on this board I was so excited about Tulemar's Mot Mot Hideaway- beautiful place, walking distance to MA Park and a beach, great price. It's unfortunately take for the dates we'd like. Anything you can recommend that's similar?

We'd like:

Walkable distance to MA park and a beach (or very regular shuttles)

A balcony

Pools at the hotel

Don't care about internet or tvs or nightlife

Check...Los Altos...very much same distance to MA National PArk than Tulemar...sorry not walkable distance to the park ...Tulemar is also NOT walkable distance to the park.

You might check Mango Moon. They have their own beach if you're willing to hike down to it, balconies (some private, some not), lots of capuchin monkeys, a small pool, etc. You can take the bus to the park if you want to, or your guide can pick you up and drop you back off if you have one.

Much depends on your budget and travel style, but mostly none of the nicer hotels are walking distance to the park, including Tulemar. However, for privacy on balconies you may want to consider Los Altos, Hotel Makanda, Si Como No or Arenas del Mar for a few ideas. Enjoy!

Thanks everyone!! Hiking down towards a beach isn't a big deal at all. I'll keep looking with your suggestions :)

We have stayed four of the last five years at La Posada. I don't know when you are going, but we have always gone in May when the park and beach are not at all crowded and the rainy season has barely begun, so mostly what you have is a little rain at night or a brief, warm, afternoon shower. The rates here are great, the staff is fabulous, everything is immaculately clean and the breakfast (included in the price) is yummy. It is next to the park entrance and a 3 min. walk to the beach. I recommend one of the bungalows as they are private and quiet. Their website is www.laposadajungle.com. They will take good care of you there. The only caveat: book way in advance, they fill up fast!
