I see night hikes offered at a lot of places in costa rica. Are any locations better for doing it than others?

Does anyone know of a night hike offered in the Manuel Antonio area?
We did the Hidden Valley night hike in Monteverde and really enjoyed it. We saw a fox, agout, coati, raccoon, sloth, a lot of cool insects, and a porcupine. Also really enjoyed doing one at Selva Verde in the Sarapiqui area; we saw a kinkajou which was a first for us. We didn't do one in the Osa because I was too chicken, but in retrospect, I wish we had. That area has the best wildlife we've ever seen.
On any night hike, be sure you're going with a guide. Many nasty things can happen at night without proper guidance (snakes are most active then, for example).
Hidden Valley(Valle Escondido) in Monteverde is awesome, do use a guide.
I have a great suggestion, I just went there about 3 months ago and it was AMAZING and it's in-town! It's a Nature Park right across the street from Si Como No hotel...here is their website: http://www.wildliferefugecr.com/
Their guides are wonderful an the sound of the frogs singing at night is just awesome. Enjoy!
Thank you Villa Hermosa!
We have been several times to MA & I did not know about this place.
We'll definitely check out the night hike.
I'd recommend packing your own flashlight or head lamp to bring along. On our last night hike, they didn't supply them.
The one at Si Como No is not going to be the best in CR, but it is a great and informative tour and very conveniently located. If you really like nature, you will enjoy that easy tour. I have never done the one in Monteverde, but it got great reveiws above, so if you are in that area you might opt for that! Enjoy!
The night bug lady at Drake Bay in the Osa is a good time, but not a hike. Watch out for snakes (Vipers), and stay in the trail (spiders too)...
