so far only heard good things about the place. it is brandnew, located lovely and has a pool. a small and personal place and the owners are very friendly. worth trying.

Here is another "I haven't stayed there either" comment - Every time I rode by there a couple of weeeks ago, someone was always working on the grounds and entrance gates of the place. It looks like a very nice new place from the outside!

And it is beach side too, as opposed to being across the road from the beach.

I love all the new lodging options in town.

@yamangurl -- Can you confirm that it's on the beach side of the road? According to the Puerto Viejo Satellite site, it's on the other side of the road. It wouldn't be the first time that site was wrong though. Just confirming. Thanks!

It is definately on the beach side of the road. We were shown inside the cabinas - they are really beautiful. The layouts are great and the decor simple and tasteful. The pool is small but still nice.
