It was a fun grand opening bash. Got to bed at 6am that night :-)

Then I went a few nights later. They made it really lovely in there, very comfy lounge area and chill, hip old music not too loud. I just enjoyed a couple glasses of wine and a wonderful tapa, but wow, the food being delivered was beautiful!! I almost asked some stranger for a bite.

Where is coco ceilo, in puerto viejo town? I would like to check it out.

It is located in thd former Loco Natural location just across the street from Grant Cabinas.

Even though I have not been, word is out that it is good.

We'll have to check it out when we're down there next month.

Well, we finally got there for dinner...

Hats off! A new standard has been set for Puerto Viejo.

I had swordfish with shitake mushrooms and it was defintely best meal I have had in the 3 years I lived there.

Wish them the best. I know our guests will love it.

We were in Costa Rica for two weeks in dec/ jan

The weather was lousy, but in spite of the rain we had 80% of our meals at Coco Cielo. The food is to die for, the service people are delightful, the bartender pours a huge drink and the owners Sofie and Jordan are warm, wonderful and beautiful.

The fish wraps were perfect and the shrimp with jasmine rice divine. Prices were also great. after dinner we really enjoyed their upscale outdoor lounge and music.

We will be back in March and can't wait to go there again.

PS...their chef is creative and all meals were as beautiful to look at as to eat!

BRAVO COCO CIELO

My family and I went to Coco Cielo a couple of weeks ago for breakfast. It was one of the best meals we had in Costa Rica. I had the french toast with fruit. It was very fresh and tasty. The food presentation was beautiful and the atmosphere is very relaxing, I love the outdoor lounge. It was also very reasonably priced. Love it! I will definately go again!
