After travelling to Rindon de la Vieja, Marvalles and Tenorio NP, we plan to spend 2 more nights in somewhere in Guanacaste.
What are other best places we can visit in 2 days, before we go down to Monteverde. There are so many nice places nearby but we can't figure out where we should go in 2 days.
Also, where is inexpensive hotel/lodge that is convenient us to travel these places?
How about a beach? Plenty to choose from. For ease/closeness (so that you can get to Monteverde next), I'd recommend Playa Hermosa. But just about any of the Guanacaste beaches would work for you.

Are the beaches in pacific side are similar to those in the carribean coast as we will be there for 10 days before going to Guanacaste.
How about Guanacaste National Park or Santa Rosa NP? Are they worth going there?
Santa Rosa Natonal PArk is spectacular...a lot of our history is there...if you can drive down to Playa Naranjo is incredible nice ride...really worth it if you enjoy the low land Pacific dry forest!
Some of the best beaches we have at the Pacific side are located in Guanacaste...

We got back last night from Guanacaste. We spent 2 nights in Playa Hermosa, 3 nights in Gulf of Papagayo , then we went back to Playa Hermosa for 1 more night. That is how much we loved Playa Hermosa. It was really that beautiful. Breathtaking actually. We stayed at La Finisterra which is not on the beach but on a hill overlooking the beach. The view is among the best I have ever seen. Look into it and if you have any questions feel free to ask.

What can we do in Playa Hermosa apart from swimming or snorkelling?
There are also some nice beach front bars that serve food. There are people who sell fishing charters and jet ski tours also
Apart from swimming or snorkeling you can do a sailing sunset cruise, rent kayaks, do some sport fishing, do a stand up paddle boarding tour, or go see a movie in Hermosa Heights cinema! :)
Oh, and of course there is SCUBA diving! That is very popular in this area, and highly recommended, we have some great diving here.
