Will there be good discounts for domestic flights booked for the same day or next day ? Or are they no discounts ?

I tried to check online for flights of the same day and next day are not available or closed.

I have some last minute change of plan. Can I get a Beijing - Shanghai overnight train seat for the same day easily ? I will be in Shanghai tomorrow, must I go to the train station to find out or is there any travel office at the Pudong airport that handles air/train seat booking ?
