one hour west of Shanghai, many trains go there.

You may also visit West Lake of Hangzhou, two hours south of Shanghai. Take the train.

Shanghai Museum (city centre)

Shanghai Science & Technology Museum (Metro Line 2 - Shanghai Science & Technology Museum Station, or in Chinese - Shanghai Ke Ji Guan)

You may also walk along Hengshan Road from Chang Shu Lu station to Xu Jia Hui shopping district.

That's a very romantic area. Many Shanghainese couples get married at the church on Hengshan Road.
