No doubt that the Portman is a fine hotel but a colleague of mine from Jakarta wants something in exactly that area but just a bit less expensive.

Hi 5 star hotels that r close by to Ritz Carlton r JC Mandarin,Four seasons,JW Marriot n slightly further up r the Equatorial n Hilton n Okura Gardens.

I think there's a new Swissotel there? Otherwise, go for JC Mandarin, Four Seasons, Hilton etc.
