I should have given more detail. It is large enough to see on Google Earth. It is a bit taller than it is wide and it is covered with different colored flowers all over it. If I remember correctly, it is fairly near a big outdoor display of vases and pots and the like. I never saw any people near it or the pots and vases. Headed out of town it is on the right side of the road.

I live right by it and have also wondered what the heck is it. It appeared last year (or year before?) around a holiday and I thought it was temporary. It looks like a big tree of plastic flowers - each one in a different style and color. It's right around HongQiao Rd and Gubei Rd. next to the Yan An.

I tried goin in to goole map but cant see the structure,wish i can help u out,but seriously ellyse will have something to say about it but she is MIA these 2 days.,wonder y maybe getting married off...still i hope someone can help u in this so yr chidren can have something to write about so im sending this post out again........

You are so gracious. My hubby says he can see it on Google Earth, but I haven't looked at it myself. There are many things my kids can write about. This is just one of the bigger ones they were interested in. Maybe Ellyse will know.

It's not just ONE flower, it's just some random and very colourful collection of flowers all stuck in one assortment. Not unpretty, but a little bizarre.

I didn't feel anything of the earthquake...
