I was hoping people might have some suggestions as to the cheapest way to arrange transfers between the mainland and 3 different resorts in the Yasawas, and what/where requires you to pre-pay - I will be quite short of cash right up until the start of this trip but plenty once I actually arrive.
I am planning a 14 night stay from November 18.
Ideally aiming for 4-5-6 nights at each of 3 different resorts - Octopus, Barefoot, Blue Lagoon, open to others similar ie Manta Ray, Coralview, and completely flexible in terms of order at this point. Thought it might be preferable to stay at Octopus last so i can possibly transfer to the mainland and fly home on the same afternoon/evening.
Ie various options with Awesome Adventures or resort transport where possible.
- The Bula Pass costs $573 for this 15 day period
- 'Build your own adventure' costs even more $700 between these 3 locations over 15 days.
- So far it looks like paying for 4x single legs of transport with the Flyer is cheaper than either of these "deals", since I will probably not be transferring more often than once/5 days
- And using local/resort transport where possible ie Octopus is even cheaper. Could anyone give me any information on their availability/cost in getting between resorts on the Yasawas?
Any other comparisons or info between the resorts I've mentioned would be very welcome also. I'm primarily interested in activities, especially snorkeling and an open water dive course (maybe even the more adventurous ones..)
Thanks a lot
