I would never pay extra for seats together - you will get them together if you are not one of the last to check in - pay only for extra legroom or Premium IMHO anyway!

We didn't bother paying for seats together for Goa with Thomas Cook but we were together anyway. We just didn't get a window seat on either leg. They wanted extra money for seats together and that was in premium! They'd had enough money from us already with the premium and there was no way we were paying more for seats together!

went to cuba 4 week ago with thomas cook, there were alot of people on the plane complaining that they were not sat next to each other, i,m sure tc did it on purpose. going to goa in febuaray booked 2 seats together not taking the risk. john

No, would never pay to sit together - I think it's a rip off though obviously it's different if you're travelling with children. I keep hoping I'll get sat next to a George Clooney look a like but unfortunately it's always been OH lol.

The seat next to George is always pre-booked by me but if hes not flying then i settle for O/H sometimes pay sometimes dont.
