The Aluling bridge is finally open... Sagada to Vigan is now around 8 hours with a private transport.

Banaue to Vigan via Bessang pass is the direct route... around 10 hours drive. You'll miss Sagada and vegetable terraces with this route.

Hi,

Anyone know where I can rent a car/van for Manila - Sagada round trip? This will be for April 5 -8.

Thanks,

WindTravelWeaver are you thinking of driving yourself?

If so I would read the driving threads listed in the FAQs as this is not recommended and especially the area you are thinking of travelling to.

Best to stick to drivers familiar with those roads.

Agree with Tommo.

Why drive when you can be driven especially in this part of the world where it is not advisable to drive by yourself!
