Haad Salat, construction work? Where exactly? Still now?

Hi all,

We are looking at some resorts on Haad Salat, but we have heard that there is construction work going on this beach.

Cookies and Salad Hut seem to be our favourite options on this beach, but according to some reviews (Sawadee) and forum topics (TripAdvisor) there is construction work going near Cookies. Is this correct?

Would this construction work also be affecting other resorts?

Many thanks in advance,

Cheers,

Greg

PS: always open to suggestions on resorts in the North of Koh Phangan (mid-range budget, some home comforts)

The Salad Beach Resort built a second resort at the end of the beach. I've spoken with one of the owners and he told to me that the grand opening should take place at the end of this year.

Sometimes it can be a little bit noisy. The Dubble Duke and the Sirilak Bungalows are affected also on this beach

However! Cookies Bunhalows is a very good place. Great owners et good staff. The view on the terrace of the restaurant is incredible!

Hi Mal,

It's afterwards the Dubble Duke Resort, at the end of the beach before the last Resort, the Cookies Salad Resort. No problem near a Salad Hut!
