Hvar Island forums
Hvar forum Hi Guys
Off to Hvar next week and was wondering if it is possible to hire a small motorise boat, prob just a 10 or 15 horse power.
We would like to cruise around on our own and just explore the surrounding beaches/islands.
Any ideas of prices etc would be greatly appreciated aswell as nice places to explore.

Yes, but you must have a licence for motorboat, don't know exactly what type.
Some rent the boats without asking for licence,which is illegal.
Just noticed you come from Germany( or it is a city with the same name somewhere else), your local port authorities know exactly what is needed.

I have rented from them several times and the last time there was a minor engine problem. The company did not have an available replacement in their own fleet because it was the height of summer. So they immediately arranged a boat with a different company and sent it out immediately. The boat they sent was a higher specification than the one we rented and we were not charged the difference.
I am delighted by the couteous and prompt service and will certainly rent boats from this company in the future.
