Last minute trip to Ashland with small child

Hello, we are planning a last minute trip to Ashland This weekend. We're driving down from Eugene. I'n traveling with three generations from under 4 to over 60. We have a place to stay, but are looking for advice on things to do. We were told to look at the Science Museum on Saturday. The weather looks cool and rainy this weekend. And have eyes very welcome. Thank you.

Lithia Park if the weather is okay. You must try the water at the drinking fountain, called "Lithia Water" :-)

Maybe drive out to Jacksonville, an old west town. There may be something going on at the Expo Center in Central Point.

Lithia Park is a fun place to spend time if the weather is good. Lark's at the Ashland Springs Hotel is a nice place for a meal and right across the street is a really good place for ice cream. Have fun! :).

You might get more ideas here, but I notice some won't be suitable for wetter, colder days:

Another idea might be Oregon Vortex at Gold Hill, about 25 miles north of Ashland.

Probably too early for most snow activities, but Mt. Ashland is close enough to let the young one play in whatever snow is there. And you can get back from the cold mountain to a warm toddy in Ashland in just minutes.
