maldives-snorkelling and diving

Which boutique resort in maldives is recommended for best snorkelling in their house reef and diving ? If it is excellent, budget is not a problem . Wanting good over the water villa and it would be a plus if it has a pool and food is good. Going end may - early june 2014.

Park hyatt has the best reef and food I've come across. The reef is simply astounding

Thks Paul.

How would all of you compare these resorts - anantara kihavah, baros, six senses and Park hyatt with regard to

1) ocean water villas ( prefer if pool is included)

2) house reef to snorkel and dive nearby

3) food

difficult to decide which one to book

If you are into amenities and looking for a water villa with a pool, the original choice of yours is already the best among those four - Anantara Kihavah.

Baros also has wvs with pool, ticks your boxes too.

Bathala has a good house reef but was very basic when we went. Fesdu also has a good house reef. Saw Eagle Rays a few times which I'd not seen on any house reef before. Fesdu is now the W-Resort and mega-expensive but will have all the accommodation and food standards you wish for.
