Got a 07:20 flight departing from LCCT. From what people are saying in the forum Concorde Inn is closer to the LCCT but I also read the not-so-good reviews about the place. We are not TOO picky but would like to have a clean and not quite so shabby place. Should we stay at the Pan Pacific instead? How far are these hotels to the LCCT respectively by cab?

If affordability isnt an issue go for the Pan Pacific especially if youve got time to kill the night before your flight. They are in the same taxi range from the LCCT, i'm not sure exactly of the difference but im sure it cannot be much as the taxi from LCCT to Concorde took us around 15-20 minutes and we saw the signs for the KLIA terminal and Pan Pacific, i'm sure they are only a stones through from each other.

Hi Bunnyhon, are you talking about the Pan Pacific International airport hotel, if so you wont need a taxi at all. Have a look below I have some info on the hotel

If the negative (or not-so-good reviews) on Concorde Inn are deterrring you, and should Pan-Pac at KLIA prove to be of worhty choice, then Pan Pac, which is linked to KLIA by a skybridge is around 22kms from LCCT; a journey of around 10-15 minutes, however do provide some contigency for taxi/bus waiting time; and since your flight from LCCT will be at 0720hrs, i.e. it would be you will be boarding a taxi, before 0600hrs, which will incur surcharge.

I'm guessing this may be a bit late - but I stayed overnight at the Pan Pacific - there is a buggy service from the hotel to the airport - which takes 2minutes. It's a lovely exterior with great gym and room service etc etc...all the things you'd expect from a 5*, but the bed was VERY hard, the breakfast wasn't particularly great (although there was a lot of variety), and we managed to get lots of bites that night!! Over my holiday I stayed in the Equatorial - KL, The Marina Madarin - Singapore, and The Dusit Thani - Bangkok, and the Pan Pacific was my least favourite...next time I plan to just fly straight and not stay at an airport hotel!!

I have used both, although the Pan pacific is very nice it is also a great deal more expensive than the Concorde, nowadays i would always stay at the concorde for value, about USD 43 a night is a bargain, it is not a luxury hotel, it is a place for those needing reasonable comfort for an overnight stop close to the airport. if it's just an overnight stop decide if you want the plush luxury of the Pan Pacific or if you are after wjhat perhaps I can be allowed to call a 'motel' style place, i.e Concorde Inn. Unless you are after luxury then the Concorde Inn is quite sufficient for most.

Hi all. Just returned from Sipadan. We stayed at the Concorde Inn at last on the way there. Thought it was OK given it's pretty cheap. No complaints!

On our way back we were trying to get into the Pan Pac for some luxury but it was fully booked because of the Moto GP! We picked the Hilton at the Sentral station at last and at around 400 ringat I thought it was EXCELLENT value for money. The room was brand new and swanky, huge bathroom, flat screen Tv..it was pure luxury. Pretty convenient as well as we took the Sky Bus directly to Sentral Station from the LCCT the day we returned from Sipadan. And the next morning we used the airport express and the in-town check-in service at the station - all hassle free!

By staying in town we got to have a nice meal at Nerovivo - Delicious!!!

Hi, and plasma TV too at KL Hilton--did you get a room where there is TV above the bath too?

Hope to see you back and trusting TA forum users to offer our assistance in your next trip.

Have a nice day.
