In Hiroshima and like to do day trip to Miyajima
I have the jr rail pass
Do I need to get reserved ticket for train to Miyajima
Or can I just get on the train to Miyajima and ferry with just my jr pass only
No ticket seat from jr statiOn

The train is a normal commuter train. So just get on and take a vacant seat.
Ferry to Miyajima is also covered with the pass.
As long as you ride the JR train and not the tran, and ride the JR operated ferry rather than the other company's you don't have to do or pay anything.
It's as easy as everyone else has said. We used our JR pass to do just this in March--no reservations required.
Local JR train to Miyajimaguchi, out of the station and straight down the road to the JR ferry. One busy road to cross, has a subway with stairs and a lift.
