What is your expected price range? When are you going?

I will be in Hangzhou sometime in January but I don't have a budget, as far as the hotel is decent.

The Lakeside is lovely (not a traditional Chinese Hotel). You can get good prices on elong or Ctrip, but make sure your room has a window as some of the cheaper ones don't.

HNA Huagang Resort is at the SW corner of West Lake, near the part called "Fish-Viewing in Flower Harbour". Lousy translation, I know!

I am tryin to decide between SSAW (Hubin) Hotel and HNA Huagang Reosrt. I will be arriving Hangzhou by train and leaving by air. Which one is better located for easy getting in and out of the city? Also which one has better access to public transportation?

I suspect SSAW might be slightly better re those considerations, but HNA Huagang Resort would be better overall.
