Has anyone been to a Yao Dong? A visit is Part of our tour while in Xian.

Hello:

there is only one cave dwelling ( yaodong) left around the terra-cotta warriors museum walking distance from the museum site, you need know in advance how to contact with the hoster of this cave.

we have other cave dewlling in x an also .you can see some of them near hanyangling tomb .which is not too far from airport .

the other one is a little far from city .

try to find the one near the tcw.

If you take the normal trains from Beijing to Xian you can see Yao Dong on the way. Off course be sure the train runs by Luoyang-Sanmenxia area in day time.
