I will be attending a conference at the above hotel, but prefer to stay in a betterr hotel close to 新世界古都酒店.
Can anyone give suggestion ? A 4 or 5 start hotel, within walking distance, or easy transportation to 新世界would be excellent!

Actually 古都新世界酒店 itself is a quite good hotel, just a bit old.You can also check the天朗时代大酒店,it's a 4 star hotel, very close to the 古都新世界酒店，Just 5min walking.

there are another two options for you, very close to the Gudu hotel named 君成hotel ( 4 stars), and King dynasty hotel ( 4 stars) . They are all walking distance to the Gudu hotel.

As the first replier said, 古都新世界酒店 itself is a better choice compared to Sunda Gentleman International Hotel 君诚国际酒店 (4 star)and King Dynasty hotel 军安王朝酒店 (4 star). If you want a better one, Sofitel is recommended, just about 15 minutes bus to 新世界古都.
