ticket office for terracotta warriors

Hello,

Slightly confused as to where the ticket office is at the TCW. I've read it's hard to find, in the middle of a shopping market!? also read that the bus leaves you in a parking lot where you take a shuttle bus to the entrance gate of the TWC??

Could someone kindly explain the method and where to buy the tickets where you arrive by bus?

thanks

Hello:

It is easier to find it to go through the parking lot follow the instruction from where the shuttle bus you get off, you can find the tickets office of TWC where you can purchase the tickets from the window number 4-9. The other three 1-3 widows for the special tickets for the students and travel agency.

If you are not in hurry about your time, you can walk through the markets walking 7-10 minutes to reach the museum site from the tickets office.

The tickets of museum need be checked twice before you go inside the real site, you need stick your tickets well.

Enjoy you stay in

The ticket office is in a strange spot and I ended up asking, but once pointed in the right direction its easy enough to find. Once you have a ticket you will enter the complex and there is an open cable car that will take you a few hundred meters to where you will find the pits as they are called. It will all make sense when you get there.

have a great day

I believe you will easily find it, It is just a entrance not a pillbox. You could find it if you could see a huge parking lot and a KFC.

BTW, i suggest you buy a shuttle car tix to save the long boring walk to the archaeological sites.

The bus from Xian Railway Station stops at an adjacent parking lot from the TCW. Walk about 5-10 min. to the ticket counter from there. To the right of the ticket counter, there are free shuttle buses to the actual burial site, which is primarily a park these days. To the left of the ticket counter are the entrance gates to the pits. It's a long walk, so you can buy a ticket to ride the golf carts to the pits. The carts pick you up just behind the gates.
