stays at guangzhou for 2 days

Plan to stay 2 nights in Guangzhou in May (then move to beijing via bullet train from guangzhou)

As we reached GZ only around 1.30am, from airport to GZ city is it far? or we need to stay at airport til working hours opreation?

where do u suggest us to stay? and easy for us to xplore GZ for 2 days before we pack again and go to beijing via bullet train

the ticket for bullet train... it easy to book through online ticket or we just walk in at bullet train station to buy the ticket?

tq

it is about 1 hour by taxi from GZ airport to the city center ,but make sure you ahd book your hotel in advance. you can stay at the airport if you want.

maybe stay at the Haizhu Square , there are some reasonable hotel to book there, like Guangzhou Hotel , and it is convenient for you to take the metro to anywhere at haizhu square metro station .(like the sightseeing places ) and conveneitn for you to take metro to the Guangzhou South Railway Station it is about 30 minutes , because you take the high speech train to Beijing .

Now not many people choose the high speech train from GZ to BJ, because most of the people think that it was much more expensive than the common train (slow train ) , so it may be easy for you to buy the ticket , make sure you can buy the ticket , you can ask help from the hotel I think they will help you do that. yes, maybe it would be much busy before the chinese new year (Feb 1-Feb9) !

book ticket on line. but pity , it is only chinese
