Minerology Museum in Sludyanka

Their web site sounded like a friendly welcoming place. The welcoming was for our money, friendly it wasn't. The $5 got you into a one room fast tour through the display cases with lights turned on for the few seconds the Russian only guide was pointing to a few of the rocks. Then we were taken up to the store. Prices seemed very high for poor quality specimens. Fortunately, we didn't buy anything, as better specimens were for sale at the market at about a third the price. Also we went to the river and found some rocks.

As we left, the guide watched to make sure we didn't head up the road to the mine sites they talk about on their web site.

We did like the B&B on the lake. It had a super view
