On my way back from Easter Island, I've got a few extra days.
I visited Trujillo 20 years ago, so I thought I would go a little bit further North, to Chiclayo.
It looks like I can easily fly from and back to Lima.
I'm thinking of scheduling most of 2 days around Chiclayo.
On the first day, I would plan on heading over to the museums in Lambayeque. But, I also want to visit at least the pyramids at Tucume. I'm not sure how much time would be useful, but maybe 2 or 3 hours.
It also looks like there are some pyramids a bit to the Northeast of Tucume. I take it that these are the Batan Grande pyramids? If so, how easy is it to visit them? Is it worth a couple of hours?
On my second day, I was thinking of heading over to the Sipan and Pampa Grande pyramids. I figure those are worth checking out as well.
Any thoughts? Critiques on my plans? Thanks...
