Shisha, hookah, huqqa, nargila, ghalyūn, ghalyān, hubbly-bubbly, hubble-bubble are all same depending which part of the world you're from. Hookah is Hindi & Shisha is Persian meaning glass.

Eva, I can find out from Tobacco Shop in Kuah & tell you by this afternoon. But there are lots of them in KL. There you can find flavours of vanilla, coconut, rose, jasmine, honey, strawberry, watermelon, mint, cherry, orange, raspberry,apple, apricot, chocolate, licorice, coffee, grape, peach, cola, bubblegum, pineapple, and scent of flowers.

In California we know it as Hookah. My son used to love doing it and there are hookah bars they liked to go to, but his lungs couldn't take it. A horrible habit.

I was not aware of all that different names. Obviously even in countries that almost treat smokers as criminals, that kind of smoking seems to become a fashion. If you can find out if that tobacco is available here in Kuah I would appreciate that!

I am hoping to go to Berkeley California on Wednesday where I can find the tabacco. If Baskie finds a tabacco shop in town before please let me know. Otherwise I will get the flavor my son likes.

I succeeded to find a shop for the tobacco here on the island. As I myself am not an expert for the shisha, I bought some with my boy and he was really happy. If your son has a special flavor and if it is no problem for you I would like to have some of the stuff that re recommends. But don't make any stress for that. Looking forward to meet you!

I won’t be of much help, but thought I would comment saying Shisha's are very popular in the UAE. What most of my friends have is Apple Shisha and Grape Shisha, some like to mix Grape with Mint flavour. So you can make you own mixes of flavours.

So I guess we wont have to get a little shisha to Langkawi, there are shisha places to go to?
