Short guided tours

Does anyone have any recommendations for a half / one day English guided tour? Preferable something that wont break the bank and isn't too much of the typical Tsukiji Market / Asakusa/ Tokyo Tower affair. Just thought a day where we relax and not worry about getting lost etc might do the spirit some good.

My first trip to Tokyo (was a good few years ago) I booked something online and the japanese guide who spoke limited English said he would meet me at my hotel. Well, he didn't show up and it was a little disappointing and we had to scramble to fill in something for the day. Maybe others have had better experiences?

You might go to Kamakura, about one hour from Tokyo on JR Yokosuka Line. You might ask for their guide: www1.kamakuranet.ne.jp/kwga/default.htm

If you ever find yourself lost, ask anyone around. Find a convenience store and ask a staff there for directions. At least carry a printed out map of your hotel with the Japanese and English version of the address with phone numbers. Catch a taxi perhaps and ask the driver to take you to the nearest station.
