Getting from Okayama to Takamatsu w/ Kansai Wide Area Pass

Hello,

Would appreciate if anyone can help me with the following-

What is the best way to get to Takamatsu Stn from Okayama Stn with the Kansai Wide Area Pass? Is JR Seto Ohashi Line and Marine Liner the same?

Since only part of the journey is covered by the KWAP, do I need to get off somewhere or can I just stay on board and pay the fare difference at Takatmatsu Stn? (I think a clearer example would be, if going to Hiroshima from Osaka w/ the pass, do i have to stop at Okayama and exit/re-enter ticket gate or stay on board and settle for the Okayama-Hiroshima leg at the end?)

Whatever you give is much appreciated!

The best way is to take the Marine Liner. The Seto Ohashi is the name of the line and Marine Liner, the train's.

You can pay the fare difference (which should be 930yen) at Takamatsu or pay the train attendant if one comes to check your ticket while on board.

I love this train ride as you can see beautiful seascapes on a clear day. Enjoy!

I don't think it does.
