We recently stayed at the Nicholas Lodge Hotel. This was in place of originally being booked into the Caria Hotel Resort.

The management at the hotel are very rude. The entertainment staff were sacked the week before we arrived, which meant there was no entertainment laid on at all. The food was basic and consisted of either pasta, spaghetti or rice with a mixture mainly of chicken dishes.

We had to check out at 12pm and therefore lost our all inclusive unless we paid 50 turkish lira, which I felt was very unreasonable, especially as I have stayed in other parts of turkey and the hotels will allow you to keep your all inclusive and room free of charge.

From where we were, the nearest beach was a 20 minute bus ride away and the local town was a 10 minute bus ride away. When you are taking children on holiday with you this then makes it quite expensive especially when there is nothing to keep them entertained at the hotel and you have to look for entertainment elsewhere.

When looking to go to Turkey again, I would avoid this hotel completely and perhaps would return to Turgutreis as the people and staff here are friendly and there is a variety of food and entertainment here.
