There are a lot of furniture shops in Fethiye. To find your own taste you should stroll around a bit.

Also quite good carpenters are around (who do not look on an cm more or less sometimes).

Plus there is a service to transport İkea furniture from İstanbul. You can check the catalog on the internet.

Plus, there are a number of second-hand shops where you can get all kinds of furniture. Look out for "Ev Kur" signs.

Check the websites of Istikbal, Bellona, Yatas, Alfemo, Arcelik, Beko and you'll get a good idea of what's available and prices.

There's an IKEA in Izmir if you want Eurobland !

Remember too the Tuesday market at Fethiye - that is where I bought all my turkish rugs and you can get all the small things you need for the house there - kitchen equipment - lamps and all the small furnishing!!

FAEDs right about the market - very good for towels. We had a problem finding coloured sheets - so bought the lovely 100% cotton material at Somerbank (back of Fethiye Fish market) and they made the sheets and pillowcases up. Also will do piques (the thick white embossed cotton bedsheet/sheet things that are just great to use in the summer). The ones you get on the market tend to be a bit small for large double beds - so you can get them made to size.
