Hi , I am thinking of booking our summer holiday , to Turkey this year . we have never been there before , been to northern cyprus ,which was lovely . I have seen the Villa Hotel Tamara , in Kas , on the web , and was hoping some kind person out there , would tell me what it is like . The area has been recommended to me by some friends , who stay every year in the Hotel Meis , in Kas . We want a small hotel , can't stand loads of crowds in the hotel ,when on holiday !

Many Thanks

Hi there.

Villa Tamara is next to the hotel you mentioned, Meis, but is far smaller and is an idylic spot. We go thjere regularly and would recommend it to anyone who wants a quiet holiday away from the crowds.

Hi

I can recommend you a small new renovated hotel close to the town centre. Just have a look on www.sonneotel.com

Best Regards

I can recommend those hotels which have private area for sea

Hera Hotel:

turkeyandistanbulhotels.com/hotels/kashotels…

or Kas Otel (more econ. option).

If you decided to go there, I can find contacts for both places.

But there are many other small and beautiful hotels in Kas as well.

Also public beach (called "Cakil Beach") also very well organised by municipality.

Be careful to take only "bed&breakfast" option in hotels becuase otherwise you will miss perfect Mediterranean Cusine of Kas and lovely fish restaurants..

Mayabe a bit late for you but we have just returned form two weeks at the Tamara. Having stayed at the Meis we have to say the Tamara beats the Meis every which way. Meis is good but doesn't come anywhere near the Tamara for food, service and accommodation.

Regards
