 Tekinberk Hotel Kalkan Turkey

We are thinking of going to this hotel in June/July and cannot find any or very few reviews of it. If anyone has stayed there can they please let me know what the hotel and the resort of Kalkan are like. As on previous trips we have always stayed in beautiful Olu Deniz.

I'd second this request - we've just booked to go in June because we couldn't get into the Rahpsody. I'm guessing this hotel is going to be a bit basic - but our travel agent swore it was well worth a visit...! Would be grateful for some unbiased opinion

Whilst I have not stayed at this particular hotel, Kalkan is just the best place I have been for a summer holiday. Will be returning this summer for my 5th visit. Fantastic restaurants, good bars and no lager louts, english pubs etc. Cannot recommend it more. Very hilll so forget packing heels!

So far as accommodation is concerned, if you do a search on Google 'hotel accommodation in Kalkan' it will point you to several good web sites that show accommodation in Kalkan. I have stayed at Harpy Hotel and Patara Prince. Friends stay at the Eagles Nest, Paper Moon and Caretta Carretta pensions. I have been recommended the Ekin Hotel but it is out of town towards Kalamar Bay. I went and looked at Rhapsody last summer. Its very nice but the pool is small and it's very quiet. Samira Hotel has very good feedback. Tekinberk looks ok in the brochure. See Anatolian Sky (anatolian-sky.co.uk.

Hope that helps.

I can recommend this hotel. I stayed there last year and it is lovely - all refurbished last year. Very friendly and charming owner, Tekin, nothing too much trouble and lovely pool and poolside bar. I have been going to Kalkan for over ten years, and am building a house there. The Rhapsody is a lovely hotel, run by friends of mine, and if you like it there, I feel sure you love the Tekinberk Hotel. I really can't recommend it highly enough, and you can tell Tekin I said so! Deborah, Highbury, London.
