Banthai Superior rooms

Hi, we are staying at the Banthai in December with our two teenage daughters in two superior rooms. From the hotels reviews on this site there seems to be some good and some not so good rooms. Can anyone recommend which block would be best to request? Also we are going to request connecting rooms - don't know if this makes a difference. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Thanks Jo

Last time we stayed at the Banthai, we stayed in a superior room. It was fine.

They say that the middle pool is generally the most popular (read: noisy) and our room overlooked this pool, and we had no noise troubles of any kind.

If you were definitely wanting something quiet you could ask for a wing that surrounds one of the side pools. I don't know the names or anything, but if you are facing the resort and away from the beach, the one on the right will be closer to the breakfast room, so that might be ok.

We were in a superior room (can't remember the block) and it was very good.

Were on the 3/4th floor overlooking the pool and was pretty quiet.

Hi Jo

have stayed @ Banthai 4 times and for the least noisy block IMO is block C it's the furthest away from reception. We always email them & ask for interconnecting rooms , this year got block B & it was alot noisier.
