Happy Airways do flights, unfortuantely the website does not seem to be operating, that flight takes about 1 hr 20 mins. Cannot help with how you book, as said, website down.

Otherwise direct express buses from Phuket Town, roughly THB 350-550, probably takes about 7 hrs.

Hi Monica4

Thanks you are always helpful. Air Asia has some very cheap flights from Hat Yai to Kuala Lumpur, just wonder if it is worth the 7 hr bus trip from Phuket.

Thanks Chrissyi

Well I guess you know Air Asia also fly from Phuket to KL.

I would not bus all the way to Hat Yai, then have to taxi to the airport etc. Just not worth it.

If you wanted a side-trip from Phuket apart from places in Thailand ( eg Air Asia 2 x daily Phuket to Chiang Mai ) Firefly have flights from Phuket to Penang and then you can fly or train down to KL.

All depends on your overall trip plan.
