Jerusalem hotel

Hi, I want a hotel nicer than a hostel for my family in august. We will be there 4 nights and I have two kids. A friend recommended the Agron Hostel but the photos are rather dreary. I cannot afford the Inbal or King David but would like a nice, clean, but interesting place rather than a hostel that looks like a bad summer camp or prison.

The Agron hostel is newly rennovated and in a fabulous location. ( but in the summer may be full of youth groups) Have you though to try pricing the Harmony, the Eldan, the Prima Royal, Dan Boutique, Jerusalem Tower, Palatin. I do not know if these places will aesthetically pleasing to you--but all have reputations as being clean!

Thank you for the quick reply. Have you heard of Beit Yosef in Safed? Any recommendations for Tel aviv??

The Rabin youth hostel in jerusalem is also nice, albeit out of the way. Look at iyha.org.il

Bet Yosef got some comments on this forum a while ago. Shoshi and Eryria can definitely help for Tel Aviv, but if you give us a ballpark figure for a budget, it'll be great.
