Is Nagoya Mall worth a visit?

will be visiting Batam this week.

what time does Nagoya Mall close and is it worth a visit?

we would be staying at Tempat Senang and thinking of whether to visit Nagoya Mall or stay in the resort to relax as our time is a little limited.

It usually closes at 9pm I think.

Whether its worth the travel depends on how much you like shopping. But theres also a wider choice of foods at cheaper prices, be it Indonesian or chinese, or fast foods etc... it could also be pretty crowded the first few days because of Lunar New Year.

Pretty much something for everyone... clothes, cosmetics, bags, groceries, hardware. I couldn't tell you how good the selection is because I usually don't shop. Oh, there are also quite a few spas there... probably at better prices than the hotel/resort.

Yes the prices of spa/massage are definitely cheaper than those the hotels offers.

Nagoya Hill shopping center is a local-driven mall. Thus, you would be able to purchase things are a really cheap pricing. For example, the hypermart. Although there are a few outlets that only target tourists as income, but not many.

If you are into movies, clothes, food, or just wanna go a place to have a walk to relax and chill out, you can consider going there (:

Compared to Tempat Senang, Nagoya Hill stuff is a bargain! Imagine a fried rice in your resort is around SGD 12-15 whereas mall only cost you SGD 2-3.

But traveling from TS to NH would cost you about SGD 10 and extra 30 mins each way. So yeah, decide what's best for you =)
