Pune to Goa direct flight options

Are there any direct flights from Pune to Goa? I can't seem to find any, most go through Mumbai and have an extensive layover there (6-7 hrs) and the ones that had 2-3 hrs layover was extremely expensive. Alternatively what is the quickest ground transport option from Pune to Mumbai and then possibly catch a flight to Goa from Mumbai.

I don't think there any direct flights from Pune to Goa.

You can reach Mumbai by train, by bus or by car. The car would be the quickest but more expensive option. It would take you about 3-1/2 hrs to get to Mumbai in a private car/taxi (could take more time if there's traffic). Bus would take about 4 hrs. but you'll need to add the waiting time to catch the bus and to travel from where they drop you off to the airport. Same with the train....

I would think, it's better to take the flight with the 6-7 hrs layover, since you won't be saving time in any case.

As Sandy has said there is no direct flight from Pune to Goa. There was one which has, at present , been cancelled.

Most people drive to Mumbaia dn then take a flight. That is the quickest way.

The direct route from Pune would mean taking an overnight bus or train. Leaves in the evening and reaches Goa early morning.
