“ Cherai Beach ”

Howmany days minimum would be sufficient to enjoy the resort. Are there any food shops and/or grocery stores near the resort or is the resort and the surrounding facilities privately owned. Is there a mosquitoe problem at the resort in December.

Hello,

I am not sure about the resort itself but can talk about the location and other facilities. Cherai Beach is a great location to relax and unwind. There are shops and grocery stores (smaller ones) in the near by town of cherai which is about 3 kms away from the beach itself. It is however well connected by road transportation so it should be be an issue.

Since I am not familiar with the resort itslef, I cannot give you much details on the same.

Hi did you stay at the resort would be grateful on any information you may have as can find no reviews at all on Cherai Beach Resorts.

Stay in the resort not more than two days, it is quite basic , there are much better resorts in the kovalam area with better beaches and less stares from the locals.

we just spent 3 nights at cherai beach resort, the rooms are lovely with great terraces over the water, the beach is lovely but the locals are not used to western sunbathers and there really isn't anything else to do that is nearby, the food at the resort is ok but not special. we got there after 3 nights on a houseboat so enjoyed chilling out, being clean and ordering room service, there isn't much else to do there.
