You surely have decent and effective and inexpensive places to get a relaxing traditional Ayurveda treatment.

Bangalore:

'KOTAKAL AYURVEDSHALA' - these people have ayurveda stores as well as treatment centers all around Bangalore.Nominal cost..a 3 day tretament with oil-on head, would cost around 1500 INR.

If you are really interested let me know ,i'll try and find more for you as I stay in Bangalore and belong to Kerala. I have relatives at both the places thus can get more accurate info.

i have under gone treatment about 6 times at the ayurvedic hospitals....

in kerla what ever u find on the web is mostly designed for foreigners...

here is a list of places:

1) Arya Vaidya Sala Kottakal, a 15 day treatment will cost 18K -20 K if you stay in the geneal ward. General wards are very clean and have usually 4 ppl in a room.

2) If you take there own room it will cost about 25- 31 K for 15 days.

You could also go to Kochi as they have a hospital there but at both places the earliest time you could get a treatment is in Feb end as they are booked,

Othere places are Combatore Pharmacy , please do a net search and you can get their website. They do online consulting and rates are also advertised online.

Ib Bangalore, In indiranagar, you can get treatment in KPCL which is off 100 feet road ahead on Sony Show room.

Or Nagarjuna Pharmacy on Tippsandra mani road, which is off 80 feet road in indira nagar.

Or Chakras, which is on Jeevan Bhima nagar road, However, all these places are treatment centre and do not have admission facilitles.

Hey, i'm interested in this ancient treatment too. I intend to take my dad to Kerala but not sure which part should i go. He prefer to see the greenery during his stay in the ayurveda centre while i like to do the exploring. Hope you guys can advise me some reasonable price centre and i will appreciated very much.
