Places to visit near Bangalore 29th June to 3rd July

My family will be going to Bangalore for attending a function and they would like to visit some near about places within the range of 300 - 400 Kms. But my main worry is whether there would be any places available to visit during this season, I mean it will be raining heavily during those days.

Please experts advise me with some itinerary.

Thanks in advance

Rain is really a concern during this period but you try Mysore-Bandipur -Coorg which is around 250 km

But rain does not shower for 24 hours and it is occasional only if it subsides you plan to visit there

Hi,

Bengaluru is presently not witnessing any rains unlike other parts of India.Even during rainy season,it is alright to travel around without much of hassles.

You can plan

Option 1 :Bangalore-Mysore-Coorg-Halebid-Belur-Bangalore.

2:Bangalore-Hampi-Badami-Pattadakal-Aihole

3.Bangalore-Shravanabelagola-Mangalore-Udupi-Murudeswar(Beaches & Temples, prone to rains.)

Rgds

Deepak.

Shivanasamudra-BRhills or Chikmagalur can also be considered as these places will be covered with greenery due to the recent rainfall....

Since you said within 300 kms radius, you can try Bangalore>Mysore>Belur>Halebidu>Shravanbelagola>Bangalore>Pune . would take 2 days to complete .

Wont advise Coorg and Ooty in rainy season . Specially if you are not in a mood to relax , don't try Coorg during rains .

Bangalore is famous for it being a developed city in the Indian Peninsula. There are many places to visit in and around this city. You have a lot many to weekend getaways Bangalore. And what you have to do is to choose from all of them and then get yourself at your favorite site. Some of the famous ones include Coorg, Munnar, OOty, Wayanad, and a lot more. These are all the hill stations.
