I've finally got round to putting my trip report for our trip to Goa in February 2006 on our website

www.avengerpenguins.com .

It concentrates on the birds and wildlife of the region but there is info that might be of general interest to many tourists as well. Plenty of photos in our galleries too.

We stayed at Dona Paula, south of Calangute with a two night stay in a forest camp in the Western Ghats.

For regular Goa visitors, the Goa gallery contains a few pics of common Goan birds, so if you've ever wondered what those black and white thrush sized birds are, find the pic of the Oriental Magpie Robin and see if that's what you get around your hotel (you should - they're very common). If anybody can ID the snake on page 18 of the gallery, then I'd be interested to hear from you.

Happy to try to answer any relevant questions. Hope this is of use to somebody.

hi chris,

there are some nice photos you've got there,

nice snake,i've got a photo of one taken in

a plantation,can't remember the name but you

cross a plank and rope bridge over a lake,it was

right in the bank.

i'll check out the other places later,thanks for

sharing your photos.
