First time to Goa and really looking forward to it. Want to be some silk fabric while I'm there. Staying at the Holiday Inn so can anyone tell me the best places to buy.

Saw post about prickly heat, I also used to suffer but have been OK since using piz buin. Can I get it locally or is it best to take it with me?

Sorry, can't help with silk, but I know you will have difficulty buying Piz Buin in Goa, so it's best to take that with you.

There is a fantastic chemist oposite Mobor beach hotel who sells almost anything. Also cheaper to exchnage money with him too.

Best best for Silk is Mumbai although you may get some good quality silk in Panjim.
