Had my Thyphoid injection today - my arm feels like I've been punched - shame it only last 3 years!
Already got my Hepatitis A and Tetanus/Polio/Diptheria.
Ah well - it's worth it for 2 weeks in Goa!
Only 17 more sleeps..... (hope the rain stops by then!)
I used to react really badly to the old typhoid jab - big scarlet ring around my arm for weeks, temperatures, shivers and shakes - but fortunately with the newer one I'm OK. I used to absolutely dread it!
Yes Carol it will be worth it AND the next one in 3 years shouldn't hurt quite so much.

This isn't the first time I've had a Typhoid jab tho, the last one was as painful afterwards as well - I'm such a lightweight when it comes to jabs anyway!!!
Come on Carol! I winced but my 5 year old didn't bat an eyelid. Why didn't we get a lollipop!!
Give me a tattoo any day of the week....i hate having injections or having blood taken....;-(

Seriously though, the typhoid jab does make your arm ache a fair bit. Glad we've still got another two years until the next one!
yes carol the typhoid injection does make your arm sore but it wont last long. we too are off soon the 29th nov from man counting the days now our first time to goa
