Looking foward to your report. The last time I was there the buffet was very, very good. However, there are reports that Harrahs is letting the quality and selection slip !

I had forgotten to mention in my previous trip report that last Thursday we had dinner at the Waterfront Buffet(BOGO coupon)

We got there about 7:30 and there WAS NO LINE!! I was very surprised. The buffet was very good but not as good as it was maybe 4-5 yrs ago in it's heyday. They had Stone crab claws but I found the quality poor.

I enjoyed the Fish tacos they had and the grilled chicken and grilled prime rib were very good. For dessert instead of slices of cake they had assorted cupcakes. Their coffee was good and strong.

Overall definately the BEST CET AC Buffet BY FAR but for those who have been going for years there have definately been cutbacks in food choices and quality. Borgata is STILL the best Buffet in AC hands down.

I am not a buffet lover at all, but as far as buffet food goes, it's actually pretty good there.

We went to the Harrahs buffet last Thursday with Platinum booklet coupons and it was better than the previous few times last year but not nearly as good as it used to be. I, especially loved the grilled salmon.

It was not opened for lunch like it used to be on Thursdays and there was no line dinnertime.

Caesars buffet on Friday night was empty and accepted the Showboat buffet coupon. Would not pay to eat there. OK for free.

Still much prefer The Borgata and cannot believe Caesars charges the same price.

BTW Gold Nugget is continuing their Golden Days for those over 50 on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays in May and June. $5 lunch buffet, $10 dinner buffet or BOGO entree at Michaels.

We were there last Thursday and I treated my daughter and 3 of my friends the buffet using the Diamond coupons - it cost us $6 for the five of us after the coupons and I still have one left for Harrah's. We found the buffet to be really good, my friends really enjoyed it.. The salmon and fish tacos were very good and they had really good garlic bread. The one thing I think they have cut back on is dessert - not that it is bad but there used to be more variety.

casinomom2 ( or anyone who has recently eaten at Caesars)

What's good or bad about Caesars. Can you compare it to the TAJ ?

I have never been to their ( Caesars)) buffet

I haven't eaten at the Taj buffet in several years so cannot make a comparison.

What I like most at the Caesar's buffet is their cook to order pasta which many other buffets now offer including Harrahs and Borgata. I usually get spinach and garlic in butter over the pasta. Caesars usually has decent veggies. Their desserts were practically identical to Harrahs. Their shrimp cocktail and cocktail sauce is more to my liking than most of the other buffets. I noticed more of a Southwestern influence in the food items than previously which I liked.

Last year on a Friday night they had crab claws and lobster at a higher price but not on this last visit.
