Brief TR - Borgata 3/30 - 3/31

DH, Dad and I flew from Farmingdale, LI to AC on Saturday with the new flight program through Borgata. We paid $20 each. The plane was a 30 seat jet and the flight was approx. 27 minutes. They served a complimentary drink and snack, and before we knew it, we were landing. They had a bus waiting for us which took us to Borgata. When we arrived, they had a separate check in set up, and our rooms were already assigned and ready for us. They also gave us a “Fly Borgata” t-shirt, and a complimentary pass to the Amphora lounge.

All match play offers, earned bonus dollars, comp dollars and monthly bonus dollars were valid. Only bonus dollars specifically for 3/30 and 3/31 (the dates we were there) were void. Since none of us had date-specific slot dollars, it wasn’t an issue for us.

We had a standard room, which we were very happy with. DH played in a poker tourney Sat. night for 3-1/2 hrs, but didn’t come in the money. I am a VP player, but didn’t have any great hits. My dad is strictly a craps player and was happy to see that they had a lot of tables open and some of them were $10. Dad and I lost. DH actually won more than I lost (for a change), so we came home with a few hundred more than we went with.

The only time I don’t get hungry is when I’m gambling, so the only places we ate were the Amphora lounge and Bread & Butter – both were very good, as usual. DH got a burger to go at 1 a.m. from the Metropolitan and said it was delicious.

The casino was busy and we had a great time. We’re looking forward to going back again. A representative called yesterday to see how everything went, but I have laryngitis right now, so I didn’t call her back yet. They are looking to expand the Fly Borgata program and are being liberal with comping the trip right now. Also, they are hoping to start 2 night trips, which is what we would prefer. I would encourage anyone interested to give them a call. They really went out of their way to make us feel welcomed.

We had a great time, and I think we are going to move most of our play to Borgata, whether we fly or not. I just like everything about the Borgata better than Harrah’s – the rooms, food choices, casino, cleanliness of everything, and especially the customer service.

Were any of the 30 seats on the Jet empty?

If thistype of deal works for both the casino and the customer I'd expect to hear about it much more often in the future.

There were only 12 of us on the Saturday flight - probably since Sunday was Easter. I spoke to the Borgata rep who was on the plane with us about it. She said there were only 2 empty seats on the Friday flight, and there were 57 passengers the first weeknd between the 2 flights.

Sounds very nice and you don't have to deal with any traffic.

I wish we could get that deal from Youngstown, Ohio, there wouldn't be an empty seat.

27 min?! 20 bucks?! Holy craps, that's sweet. I wish they had something like that out of ABE. Gee, I better check, maybe they do....

Sounds like a great time! I would love to be able to fly to AC but no airline offers service from where I am. It's strange because I could book a ticket to Atlanta and then from Atlanta to AC but the airline won't let me book just from my destination to AC even connecting through Atlanta. Very strange!

I know there is a junket that flies to Harrahs for the weekend and I could pay $300something for it but I figure for that I might as well just drive.

Very nice trip report, I think you'll find switching your play to Borgata well worth it. Not sure where you are switching your play from. The standard rooms You stayed in are so nice after the redecorating, that they are almost, if not better then fiore suite which is nice also, but really just a large bathroom. The Amphora lounge is the best players lounge in AC, quality of food makes it an easy alternative to the already fantastic buffet. The slots at Borgata are definately looser then any of the other casinos, but it is also so very easy to give it all back to them plus more, so be carefull!

Glad you liked your new "Borgata" home casino, the flight option is way above anything I have ever heard of. Thats the equivalent of your own private jet!

Borgata simply the best, sets the standards high, tough for the rest of those casinos there to keep up with, and obviously attracts more high end players like yourself!

Best of luck and happy times at your borgata!

Now I ask you all, does this Borgata do it right or what?

This is what ALL other Casinos in A/C should pay attention to,***Customer Service***

Always said ** Borgata,The BEST A/C has to offer**
