I would wait until July 2.

"The new Tier Point cycle began on July 2, 2012 and will end on July 2, 2013. During this period, you must earn the following number of Tier Points to maintain your status or qualify for the next level during the period beginning July 2, 2013. "

Yes it is one time only then you have to earn it for the next year.

They did run 3X tier days this past year and that pushed many players over the top for the year.

Good Luck!

Like previously stated this will definitely match it but don't expect them to match it the year after.

I hate the timing of their 3x tier days its always when I can't make it :(

Similar to CET

Slot play is $5 per point

VP is 10

Most pit bosses are very generous with the rating especially at the $25 level.

LFog ~ I’ve heard many strange theories about GN point earning, but all have severe doubts it’s a clear $5 slot per point and VP $10. It sure wasn’t 2 weeks ago, and definitely didn’t seem to be on any of the few full pay video poker machines during the past year or so. Do you have any credible source for claiming it’s currently “Similar to CET”

Also 2 weeks ago, their player card upgrade was only good until the end of a next 6-month cycle, which is this July. But it seems all their card match upgrades are only good for 6 months max. According to a boothling at their player’s desk, after July, (if they are still doing the same), you may be able to get an upgrade good until December 31. But you must then fully pay to “earn” that higher level card for it to remain in effect until the end of their next year cycle in July.

I asked the players desk and that's what they told me.

I did a little testing and it was pretty accurate estimate.

There is a whole row of $1 full pay VP.

There is no .25 machines.

GN's program is pretty generous on the comps.

There is nothing set in stone on the amount but the players desk ( 2 different people) confirmed this theory but it may not be right

Thanks ~ I guess “similar” is good enough advertising, but is there variation linked to the machine payback? My experiences, and some others, playing those $1 full pay VP did not seem even close to $10 a point.

Anyway, glad to hear they are generous with table comps. And there are many other good changes there!

GN is very generous with comps. We play there once a month on an overnight stay and eat at Chart House and also enjoy room service. My comp level stays in 200-400 range.

The only issue I have with GN is the kiosk doesn't tell you when comps will end or fall off as other casinos do.

We stop by the 24K booth and have them checked every few months...last fall $132 fell off as we didn't spend them quick enough.

Tier earnings seem to be up and down. At times they add up quickly and my last trip 6 hours of play didn't add up at all....was told it depends on the slot machine? Well that answer didn't give me much to go on but I have earned my Chairman card already for next year so I didn't question it further.
