Borgata
Not even close in comparison.
Everything from customer service to gaming.
Revel is a beautiful property but not much else.
I would make my choice based on whether you want to be on the boardwalk or not. Other than that unless you are planning to develop a gaming relationship you won't go wrong with either property.
Hands down,ALL day **Borgata**!
Customer Service,Customer Service,Customer Service!!!
You will do well with either Revel or Borgata
Revel has beautiful rooms and some of the best dealers I have seen.
Botgata is also great
If you appreciate not having to smell smoke ho with Revel
You can't go wrong either way. Both are great hotels. As already mentioned the two questions you need to answer are; do you want to be on the boardwalk and do you like smoke free.
Overall I prefer Borgata. For me, the deciding factor is free play and offers. For me at least, Borgata rewards my play at a much higher level than Revel. Slot dollars are the most important factor for me, but Borgata is also generous with comedy show/entertainment tickets and, to a lesser extent, rooms.
Location-wise, I prefer Revel due to boardwalk proximity and stunning views from the rooms.
In regards to the rooms, I also prefer Revel. The rooms are very sleek and modern in addition to the aforementioned beautiful vistas from almost all the Revel rooms. The rooms at Borgata are also quite nice due to the recent renovations, but I have to give Revel the edge as far as rooms.
As far as the casino layout and offerings, it's a toss-up for me. I love the modern feel, new machines, and overall look of Revel. My significant other prefers a non-smoking atmosphere, so that makes Revel more appealing for me, as well. All that said, the gaming options at Borgata are much better than at Revel for a player like me. I play just about every game in the casino, but I prefer video poker. Borgata blows Revel out of the water when it comes to VP. And that's even before we mention the BBar which is fantastic.
As far as dining options, I give Borgata the ever-so-slight edge because of their low-cost food court option. From a fine-dining perspective, both properties have exceptional restaurants. I personally don't care about buffets, but I do like food courts, and Revel doesn't really offer anything on par with the Borgata in this regard. Revel comes close because of the Mussel Bar and its sensational beer offerings, but ultimately that's not enough to make up for the Borg food court. I do think Borgata would be well-served to add a bar along the lines of Mussel Bar or Firewaters.

Revel lacks a buffet, horserace simulcast, efficient players program, and quiet rooms.
Looks like a Borgata /Revel debate here. I would chose Caesar's because I prefer the Boardwalk plus I prefer to smoke.
Just to add I have nothing against either of those two beautiful properties in the OP, but if those were my only choices than I probably wouldn't even come to AC.
Borgata! A great Atlantic City property!
