rooms at atlantic club???

was wondering if 3 people could sleep comfortably in a deluxe room with two double beds, if we bring a twin size blow up mattress...is there enough floor space for an extra twin blow up? the hotel says bringing up a cot is against code, but it will save us 400 bucks on having to get an extra room....any info on room size in ac club would be helpful...thanks!

Yes as I recall there would be enough room for a twin size bed. You may have to move a table or something but there is room.

Atlantic Club is my home base casino, enjoy your stay.

I agree with Dave. I believe a twin sized mattress would fit in the room. I am surprised they said they couldn't bring up a rollaway...I thought all hotels offered them.

Kristine- Most will bring one up if it is a king room but will not if it is a double room.

You should have enough room for a twin blow up. I've had a queen blow up with me before in case I had unexpected visitors and a queen would have been tight at other hotels, but a twin no problem.

thanks for the input!!! another question, i did ask them if they had any jacuzzi rooms, and they told me they have rooms with whirlpool bathtubs, but that i would have to request it and it's not guaranteed...has anyone ever been in one of these rooms and is it nice to have, only ask since they don't have a hot tub by the pool...my other option is staying at tropicana where they do have a hot tub and pool, but our friends are staying at ac club and we want to be close together....any info or comparisons on the two would be appreciated...

Jacuzzi's and hot tubs at casinos kind of give me the chills. I'm no germaphobe but you know what goes on in one and can you imagine how often?

I wouldn't look for it just my .02.

Atlantic Club rooms tend to be nicer and perhaps bigger in some cases.

There is one tower at the Tropicana you should avoid. I think it is the North Tower? Maybe someone can answer that better than me.

The Tropicana draws a lot of younger party crowd types. Not certain if that is ok with you. Atlantic Club is older, more layed back.

I would never use a tub or jacuzzi in any hotel room. Just look at the room, they don't dust, they use the vacuum with a lick and a promise. They get by with the minimum to make the room realitively clean and presentable. What makes you think they would scrub a tub? If you were to use it, bring your lysol...

The housekeeping staff is stretched to the max in most places.

The West Tower should be avoided at all costs at Tropicana.

I would stick with the AClub over Tropicana. The property is better kept and the Tropicana is just a short walk away if you want some better nightlife.

oh yes, if we do get a jacuzzi/tub room i will def be cleaning it myself first, i clean my own tub at home just before taking a bath...not a germaphobe, but am a nurse and know there are plenty of yucky things to be weary of...but a hot soak is very relaxing after a long day in the hot sun on the boardwalk...as far as tropicana, after reading plenty of negative reviews about the west tower and not being guaranteed not to be put there, i do think we will stay at ac club....plus the benefits of staying at trop and being near the quarter can be enjoyed with just a short walk from ac club....i appreciate all the great input, this will be our 3rd stay in a.c. and it gets better every time! this will be our first time on this end of the boardwalk, can anyone tell me what the atmosphere is like down there compared to the resorts end of the boardwalk, such as boarwalk style eateries and souvenier shops??? thanks!

Atlantic Club is on the quite end of the boardwalk. You will find fewer eateries and souvenier shops.

Right before the Tropicana on the boardwalk is Country Kitchen. I have never eaten there but the place gets good reviews and looks nice and is reasonably priced.
